AN JUAN — The Puerto Rican firm, Lucenti, led by businesswoman Lucienne Gigante, was selected to be part of the renowned global business acceleration program, Vital Voices GROW (VV GROW).

Gigante is the only Puerto Rican in a select group up of 50 women entrepreneurs from 27 countries and seven regions around the world. The program seeks to promote and scale women’s businesses to turn them into economic growth and social change hubs in their communities, countries and the world.

Gigante will participate in the program as the founder of Lucenti, a positioning firm that creates and deploys innovative strategies to help companies solve business challenges and create opportunities.

“Our goal, through Lucenti, is to help grow businesses and positively impact communities,” said the strategist and entrepreneur. Companies that listen to and insert themselves into their communities are more successful, their employees more productive, and their customers more loyal. This objective is aligned with our participation in Vital Voice Growth, which seeks to promote the social impact of women in leadership positions.”

Lucenti’s team uses its experience in communications, crisis and reputation management, social platforms and digital branding, as well as public relations to achieve its clients’ objectives and amplify their impact.

Based in Washington, D.C., the global nonprofit Vital Voices grew out of the U.S. government’s Vital Voices Democracy initiative, established in 1997 by then-First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright after the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing. Its board members include National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman and DVF Studios President and Designer Diane Von Furstenberg.

Its mission is to identify, invest and project visibility to extraordinary women throughout the world by displaying their potential leadership to transform lives and accelerate peace and prosperity in their communities.

Lucenti’s participation in the VV GROW program will span one year, through which she will interact with businesswomen from diverse cultural backgrounds and professions. In addition, she will become part of a global chain of support for women leaders.
